Overview
Once known as the Kingdom of Utesh, it was ruled by the tyrant King Sander Lissi, the Great Uncle of the current king of Relian. It was a formidable military power and the King sought power to take over the rest of the material plane. However, after the uprising, the people of Utesh agreed to a republic where the peace could be held. And even though Eastern Utesh has seen lots of prosperity and development, in the West much of Utesh has been left in the backwater, and many still believe in the old ways and are still loyal to the old Kingdom.As well as there being many settlements scattered across Utesh, it has the largest population of Orc tribes. King Lissi thought Orcs made for excellent fodder in his campaigns. Since then an agreement was struck by the republic and the leader of the tribes, they would keep their land and their homes with little interference from Uteshians, if they joined the republic and kept the peace between other settlements. Which they agreed.
